About
Honest truth, I don’t take a lot of photos unless I'm commissioned to do it or working on a personal project. I’m blessed with an amazing partner, a recently added baby boy and two larger-than-normal-for-New-York dogs. I’d rather enjoy watching them live life than take pictures of them. Doing my best to live in the moment.
I always thought of myself as clever and funny. I realize now that I am clever but most of my humor is pure self deprecation. I’m a smiler, so I guess I like it when everyone is smiling around me. Taking one for the team!
I’ve picked up lots of hobbies and passions over the years including sailing, travel, paddle boarding, art museuming, rock climbing and a garage full of other preoccupations. I’m most proud of the work I’ve done on personal projects abroad. I’ve circumnavigated the globe twice by ship and have been to over 30 countries. I consider myself lucky to have gained a worldly perspective.
My lasted personal project is a series on creators. I define creators as people who chase creative endeavors do so with no promise of reward but are compelled to share their art, their soul and by default their emotions with others. My project seeks writers, musicians, painters, chefs, inventors, makers and innovators. The list goes on. The purpose is to collaborate with creators to fashion an iconic portrait that will be part of societies legacy. My large format prints use the Platunim/Palladium process which adds a grandeur on the level of painting and sculpture.
When I’m not spending time with family, friends, dogs, museums, nature, city-dwellers and my guitar, I’m shooting for wonderful clients who’s relationships I cherish.
