As a portrait and commercial photographer in Brooklyn, NY, I've been blessed to travel around the world taking pictures. Whether it's in support of the Semester at Sea program, following professional Ironman athletes for 140.6 miles, or shooting couture fashion in New York City, my career has run the gamut.
My current passion project is co-hosting, co-curating and co-producing the Do Lectures USA with my wife. Started in Wales, The Do Lectures was originally created by Clare and David Heiatt, founders of Hiut Denim. The idea is a simple one: To gather together the world’s DOers, disruptors, change makers, experts and pioneers, to share their stories and encourage others to go and DO.
I am excited to pick up the torch and make it more accessible to an American audience. This is my opportunity to serve the 'WE', not the 'ME'.
Which brings me to the most important passion project there is, my family. Time is our most valuable asset. My priority is my son and my wife and our extended family and friends. It's important to put a photography career in perspective. I'm doing this by dividing my time more equitably between family, the DO Lectures and photography. Time to find balance...
